About Wrynkle Skyns Sphynx

I started with my first two sphynx cats back in the beginning of 2004, Dobby and Winky, named after the house-elves in the Harry Potter books. From there I was introduced to the show world and was well and truly bitten by the bug, showing first through FiFe and later through TICA.

They say “all good things come to those that wait” and “patience is a virtue”.

Well, I remained patient and waited for what seemed like a lifetime and, in 2007, the good things finally came! I took arrival of my long awaited stud boy, Monkey and beautiful F2 outcross girl, Angel from Ed Manning of Wizardgate Sphynx, to whom I am eternally grateful for both these wonderful cats and also his continued friendship and support. After what seemed a very long and torturous start, the dream began........

Being a Veterinary Nurse for the past 13 years, the health of our cats is paramount and all of our adult cats are routinely screened for HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) and our cats test negative for FeLV and FIV.

We regularly attend cat shows around the country to ensure the progression of the cattery by continuing to produce kittens which complement the standard set down for the breed. Showing is also a great opportunity to spend a weekend with good friends and meet other breeders, keeping abreast of Sphynx related issues.

Our cats are part of the family and each one is loved dearly. Kittens are raised in the home and are well socialised with other cats, dogs and children before they are ready to leave us. Our adults are best friends with our family whippet and can often be found snuggling up with him during the day.

Anyone is welcome to come and visit us at home to meet our family and see where our babies are born and raised.
